Hello, my name is Patricia, and your presence here means a lot for me.

Originally from Spain, I moved to Scotland in 2019.

I'm from a small village in the north of Spain, where majestic mountains rise over 2000 meters and peaceful reservoirs mirror the skies. Growing up, the sunsets there—dancing between reflections and shadows—were my favorite source of inspiration and quiet wonder. Being surrounded by nature has always given meaning to my days, and it's that same deep connection to the natural world that keeps me rooted in Scotland, even after six years.

Photography has always been more than just an art form to me—it is a way of preserving time, of holding onto the fleeting moments that define our lives.

I studied Audiovisual Communication, later specialising in professional photography at an international school in Madrid, where I refined my craft and deepened my understanding of visual storytelling. I got to meet lots of artists and people who are a great source of inspiration, and I'm learning from the best of them. I also understand how people's perspective on the world influences our brand and our identity.

Yet, my path has taken me through various experiences over the years, each one shaping my perspective and enriching the way I see the world through my lens.

I believe in the power of memories and the quiet significance of time passing, especially when life unfolds in a foreign land, far from the embrace of those you love.  A photograph is more than an image; it is a treasure, a fragment of life that holds emotions, details, and untold stories. That is why I approach my work with deep care and intention, capturing not just what is seen, but what is felt. Whether it’s a wedding, an intimate family moment, or a personal project, my goal is to create timeless images that will be cherished for generations.

Freezing the present to be remembered in the future.

Some unexpected facts:

  • Have a license to fly a drone.

  • For my dissertation, I analyzed hundreds of thousands of documentary photographs from the Spanish Civil War held on “Europeana”. At one point, I even considered becoming a photojournalist documenting wars — but soon realized that my battle was elsewhere.

  • Before moving to Scotland, I worked as a photographer in hotels in Benidorm. After that experience, I didn’t touch a camera for a few years.

  • My passion for photography was reignited when my best friend, instead of sending me a wedding invitation, said:
“Patri, I want you to be the photographer at my wedding.”

That same year, on my birthday, I was gifted a fully manual film camera from 1972 — a beautiful excuse to start from scratch.

  • I’ve had my first DSLR camera — a Canon 550D — for 14 years, and I even photographed my first weddings with it. It’s still my most treasured possession.

  • While finding my path, I submitted some of my earlier work to exhibitions. To my surprise, I was selected for one and placed on the reserve list for another — both happening very soon!
